Cafe Sunflower: A Review

It’s been over a week since I made the change from a pesce-vegetarian diet to a completely vegan one and yesterday I finally convinced a friend to join me for lunch at a fully vegan restaurant, Cafe Sunflower.

I had eaten at the Buckhead location many years ago (the vegetarian location), but have had my eye on the Sandy Springs spot for a while, and it did not disappoint.

We started with the Spring Rolls appetizer, which came with a great wasabi dipping sauce that was definitely my favorite part of the course.

For our entrees, I ordered the Spicy Pad Thai and my friend got the Moo Shu Vegetables. The Pad Thai was recommended by the our waiter as a best seller, and I can see why – it’s incredibly creamy and full of flavors! 

I mean, just look at all that sauce! It’s not what I normally expect when I think of Pad Thai, but it still hit the spot, especially with some Sriracha (I like my “spicy” reeeeaally spicy).

As for the Moo Shu, the one bite I tried was perfection. I would definitely order this dish when I go again.

And that’s right, I’d definitely go again!
